Crankcase pressure?

Crankcase pressure? Did a track day on Saturday, and it flew! But my catch tank got a fair amount of oil in it, and it was puking out of the vent. If i open the 2nd rocker cover up will it ease the pressure? So far it is just venting from the valley and the factory stock rocker cover. It was also said to be smoking a little, but on the road its fine, but its just not getting that much abuse then.
