I'm doing my cam swap right now and I'm having a hell of a time getting my Melling pump onto the crank snout. Stock one slides on with little to no effort. It seems like the opening for the snout is too small. I even tried sliding it on backwards to see if it would even fit over the snout, no go.

Any thoughts?

just keep fiddling.. it'll slide on.. the gerator teeth on the melling are brand new and will be a little tighter...

 

And I should use the green oring correct?
