2000 ws6 cam
2000 ws6 cam ive been on the market for a cam for a long time, reading installs and all kind of stuff. I am wondering if or when changing a cam is it important to do the lifters also, i know some people dont do it, i was wondering if it all depends upon how many miles are on the motor are what.
Umm... I tend to disagree....A lsk lobe or even XFI or XE/R can tend to be rough on high mileage lifters so to me it is a coin toss, They were really not designed with high intensity lobes like that in mind but can serve well set up properly.......If you can swing it change'em out on a high mile motor IMO
if u got the heads off, CHANGE THEM!!!! ls7 lifters r only 120 4 a set, if ur only swaping out the cam, let the old ones ride most people dont pull the heads to do a cam swap hope this helps good luck!
