Default Retorquing with Cometics

wondering if i have to retorque my head bolts when using cometic gaskets

1st i got a straight edge with wd-40 and 400 grit sand paper and went over the deck and the heads to get my 50ra

2nd i sprayed my cometic .040 gaskets with perm. copper spray

3rd torqued my ARP head bolts to the correct lb.

so after 1 heat cycle do i need to retorque or is that made for using stock head bolts?

I did two heat cycles then re-torqued by loosening 1/8 turn and then torque to value. A lot of the nuts went past amount loosened.
