that is correct, no need to buy new unless they are all rusted out.

 

Yes sir. Its head bolts that aren't reusable because they are torque-to-yield IIRC. Header bolts are fine though.

 

Yes, and you can even get away with using the stock metal gaskets!

 

Stock '98 bolts & gaskets here, been through 3 sets of headers on 2 different motors and still no leaks.

 

Most people reused the stock MLS gasket and bolts, IF you were to use a new header bolt, run a tap through them all and get a clean thread on both sides. The black paint often makes for a tight fit, and I actually fucked a thread up on my driver side head, lucky I was able to get it out and clean up the threads.

 

Reused mine this weekend. Put Hooker Super Comps and 1 chambers off the collectors. No leaks here.
