Kane, the lingenfelter cam is pretty to me. I love that cam....but not for your engine, unless you really want oem stock drivabilty. For your car I would go bigger, cause its not a daily ride, its just for fun. I d look at something like 224-238 or 230/244 in the 590 lift area on a wide cl. 114 and up.

I treat it like a daily driver though. I like to take the car on long trips and when I drive it I do not want to deal with drivability issues. I would probably drive it even more daily if I calmed it down a little. I am really leaning towards that lingenfelter cam.

This is a possibility.........Easy check is to pull some springs and check them. It doesnt actually make any strange sounds when it does it, but it doesnt have to do whats "normal" otherwise it would be easy.
