I repl blown LS6 with a 402 after blowing holes in #5 and #7 pistons with sc setup road racing. Now I am left with short block and pieces I didn't scavenge for 402. There doesn't seem to be much of a market for these, so I was just curious what could be done with it. I was thinking about building a back up motor in case other goes. How much is it really worth? How big can it go - 427. . . 454. . . 500? Would like to stay na for tracking, but I do miss my sc. Any thoughts?

 

If the block is safe/sound id just have a budget shortblock built for a backup
