Harland Sharp rocker ?
im thinking of buying a set of new Harland Sharps rocker arms from a local guy but cant seem to find much info about them from there web sight.
there not a true shaft mounted rocker arm but two arms share a shaft. so the intake and exhaust rocker arms come in one assembly.
what can you guys tell me about these?
the guy is telling me there about $450 new but he'll sell them to me for half that and there still in the packaging.

I have a set on my car and other then the fact that I had to grind on my heads to get the front and back rockers to fit, I could ask for much more. Your really not going to see much of a gain, but just added insurance they are one of those very last bolt ons.
I have a set on my car, and around 3k miles later one of the rocker bolts broke, which in turn broke the pins and 2 other rockers, I called harland sharp they told me to send them the damaged/broken rockers into them and replaced them free of charge. the failure occurred while cruising on the hwy @ 70mph
they also replaced every rocker bolt, as they found that is what caused the problem I can say nothing but high praise for their quick customer service, and since have not had a problem.
I chalked it up to a freak failure, and they handled it flawlessly.
here is a picture and you can see the roller cracked completely, along with the snapped rocker bolt.

thanks for the input guys.
i wasnt getting them for any increase in power, more for insurance since the rockers ive got now are original oem's and them and the lifters are pretty much the only stock stuff on my motor besides the rotating assembly.

I had them on my car and the clearence between the head and rocker is tight. Their customer service is great. I think a better option is to send your stock rockers to them for a rebuild. The stock rocker with better bearings is a great piece. I noticed that the Harland Sharps always had little bits of aluminum shavings hanging on the trunions.
I have them on my car and have no problems with them at all. Like others have said you may need to clearance your heads a bit for them, but its not a big deal. They are certainly much stronger than the stock units.
