I just bought a 99 TA w/ an LS1 M6. i need to replace the knock sensor. Does anyone know how to complete this task or have any pics that could help me out??? Anything would be great. Thanks Steve

 

The knock sensors are located under the intake manifold.

After that, you'll see two rubber grommet type things plugging the holes...gently pull those up, and the knock sensors are beneath. Unclip the harness and loosen the knock sensor to replace it.

Perhaps put an LS6 intake back on while you are at it!
