Default Oil Pressure Problem.. please

so i was out for a cruise tonight, i pulled off the highway and rolled to the light, i got to the light, my check gauges light came on my oil pressure dropped to zero and the car died... car has a ported oil pump i installed with the cam.. ive got about 10k on it since the install .. i got home and checked the oil and it was fine wasnt low or anything.. anyone have any idea what may be goin on.. please help

Are you sure the car just didn't die on you for some reason?

the car did start back up afterwards and did it again... it could have died for some other reason but its never happened before.. it would be a damn strange coincidence
