You really need to explain your goals for the car to get any information of value.

Don't really have any specific goals for the car. I would like to be over 400HP. Also while I have it apart to do the heads/cam would it be a good idea to replace the lifters? Car has less than 40,000 miles on it.

With those miles it is not madatory but for an extra $125 I would go ahead and do it cause you are gonna kick yourself if they take a dump with the more aggressive lobes of your new cam

That package should net you over 400rwhp. Not sure about rwtq #'s though. As for the lifters, you don't need to, but for ~$100, it's added insurance.
