TR220 guys inside what do you guys think about TR220 cam
how would this cam work on a stock convereter
would it run ok without tuning

Re: TR220 guys inside I run this cam with the stock converter. I felt the stock idle was a bit low for the cam, there was a bit of hunting, but not much at all once the car was warm. Tuning has helped out tremendously, raised the idle to around ~800 or so, no hunting, no stalling, no surging. Shift points are ~6200 with a 6400 cutoff, my trannys getting a bit weaker with over 60K miles on it, so I stayed on the safe side. Good luck if you choose it!!!
