what is a 5.3 and a 5.7
You should have posted this in the Newbe section. The 5.7L is a LS1 346ci, LS2 is a 6.0L 366ci, LS3 is a 6.2L 376ci, LS6 is a 5.7L 346ci Z06 motor, and the LS7 is a 7.0L 427ci Z06 motor. The 5.3L is mostly used in trucks but they do use them in the in some cars like the Grand prix GXP, Malibu SS, ETC. Why do you ask this?

cause i bought my 2000 z28 camaro a year ago and the person who had it before me had the motor out of it and i found out they put a 5.3 in it for some reason i was just curious what the difference was this is my first LS engine based vehicle and i don't know how i went with out one the thing is awesome
