I just bought a new 98 (ls1) trans am oil pan, pickup, and windage tray for my car. It is a 98 trans am with a 5.3 from a 03 silverado. The pickup tube is hitting the pan before the pan gets to the block. Its hitting where the pickup bolts to the motor and comes down to curve back. Does the ls1 pickup mount farther up in the block or is it just my pickup not bent like it should be? Thanks in advance.
