Oil Pump

Replacing a stock ls1 oil pump with ls6 ported on 99 ls1, did they come with gaskets for the oil galley? I noticed I dont have anything in my gasket kit for my rebuild. Since I took the stock oil pump off about 2 months ago I couldnt notice any marks or such indicating a gasket was there. Is there any harm on putting a tiny bit of rtv sealant 'near' the oil galley hole. It just doesnt seem right that the oil pump would sit flush with the block and have good oil pressure.

I know I know...get a manual...I will but figure this site will save me $12 for 1 pushrod.
