Valvetrain noise after H/C???

Valvetrain noise after H/C??? Well here is the low down. I just got done doing the install my self for the first time. I installed a CC 212 218 cam, with CC harden pushrods, Manley valves with CC 918 springs. I personally think I have a bunch of noise, Idle isn't bad but 2k-3500 is bad. Is this normal? All of the GM torque specs were followed. I reused the rocker arm bolts and didn't apply any lock tight. I read several things on how to and how to NOT apply. Anyway, I’m just looking for some other perspective on the deal. I have no knock retard but haven't run it past 4500 or so, should I go ahead and do a couple WOT with A-tap to check?
