As I have already posted I will be doing a cam swap and was wondering if swaping out my stock heads for 243's would be worth it? Figured if it would be to have it swap at the same time as my cam.

Depends on how much money you want to spend. Obviously you can pick up some 243 heads for pretty cheap but you probably won't see more than 20RWHP with them over LS1 heads. Also don't forget you're going to need new head gaskets and a tune as well.
