i have already searched...can someone tell me if they put ls6's in 2001 ws6's? also is the reluctor wheels different on a 98 ls1 vs a 2001 ws6 lsx?

yes the 01 02 came with ls6 you can tell by the manifold not having the egr that goes through the manifold ls1 manifold came with the egr hose through the manifold

all 01-02 ls1 camaros and trans ams came with the ls6 intake only, not the ls6 motor.

The bigger bay windows in the bottom of the LS6 block improve oil circulation at the exspense of a small amount of block strength......Therefore a LS1 block is "technically stronger" than a LS6 block though not necessarilly better.....

The Gen IV blocks are better in both ways BTW

do the 01 model motors need the rod bolts changed? I had ordered rod bolts for my 98 but Im gonna pull the 98 and install the 01 model motor. lower miles (40K) vs my 129K motor
