Default cam question

Will a stock ls7 cam fit in an ls1 block, if so would it run well with a pair of afr heads?

Thanks Rich

nope

and there are much better cams out there.

the ls7 was designed for big cubes, emissions and smooth running.

wht are your goals? budget? current mods??

Thanks for the response, no real goals, I just happen to have a new stock ls7 cam springs and retainers laying around my shop and my son has a stock 02 camaro ss and was wondering if he could use the parts in his engine as an upgrade. Guess I will try to peddle the stuff. Thanks again Rich

i have no idea if the springs and retainers would work...

they could be an upgrade that could be used on some other cam. you'd have to ask around more.
