Stroker-Explain Piston,Rod,Crank Events Please
The extra stroke is at the bottom of the bore?
The custom piston allows for correct deck height, but more stroke at the bottom of bore?
Example, stock crank at 3.622,offset cut to 3.722 would yield 355 cubes. The extra stroke would result from the piston being drawn down .100 more in the bore?
Am I on the right track here?TIA.
At the same time, Pewter is right in that you "center" the piston within that stroke (when the crank is a mid stroke, the piston will be 2" down the bore) and ballance with the pin location and rod length to prevent the piston from comming out the top of the bore.
