Do the seals need to be replaced upon engine rebuild?

I would, when I built my forged moter I used all my original covers, and I replaced all the gaskets and seals. There was only 28k on the clock when I did this. It would suck to get every thing back together and find leaks.

I agree even though I've reused mine a number of times. I would recommend changing both main seals though. I like to put a dab of silicone where the front/rear covers mate with the pan gasket.
