smogable h/c setup - please advise
I know this is old thread but I've been searching for an answer for awhile. Have you or anyone else here herd anybody passing California's state referee with the PRC stg 2.5 5.3l also how bout PRC STG 1.0 LS6 heads With 224R/114 cam????????? thats the only thing Im just worried about. Cause I know I'll get state reff over my exhaust

You don't have to worry about heads not passing smog(sniffer), as long as they look stock. I have the Patriot stage II's,custom 224 cam on a 114 lsa, high flow cats, and I've passed twice..both times with max values for ppm.
