cam install gaskets
cam install gaskets Can someone give me a run down of what gaskets im going to need to do my cam install? What I have so far:
Gaskets:
- 2 AIR tube gaskets
- 2 Water pump gaskets (From LS1howto)
- 1 front engine seal
Is that all I need?? Do I need one for the intake?

Depends on what all you want to change . You will be removing the valve covers [2 gaskets] , front cover [1 gasket] , crankshaft pully bolt .

I just want to put new gaskets in for what ever I have to take off to do the cam. Im also going to put in a new timing chain. Thanks 02RED Z Ill add those to the list. Anything else...
I'm curious as well as to what all I need. Thunders cam install package comes with valve cover gaskets as well as water pump/timing cover etc. Ive had the valve covers off before and I know that you can reuse the originals w/no problem. I wonder what else is necesary? I know you need a new pulley bolt.
buy the basic cam bolt kit from tsp, its only 30 bucks and comes with all you need 
. does come with air tube gaskets but i !air so i didnt need them.
