Default Heads/cam package from Texas Speed???

Thoughts on this package from Texas Speed?

http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=832&catid=47

-PRC stage 2.5 LS6 heads Anyone know if their porting is top notch?
-2.02"/1.57" stainless steel valves
-PRC Dual springs w/ TI retainers good for .660" lift
-TSP hardened pushrods
-Choice of cam I was thinking of going with the MS3, MS4 might be too big

$1,879.99

This will be going on a stock LQ9 bottom end (shooting for ~11.0:1 CR), topped off with a Fast 90/90, Headman 1 3/4" headers, Violant CAI, catback...mated to a T56...all inside of a '02 WS6

Call them up. That setup may be close PTV to be comfy. Im running the MS3 on a 113 and the 2.5 LS6s, but have a -4cc piston. TSP is going to machine mine down for more comp. Im also have 1 7/8 Kooks into dual 3 inch-no X or H pipe. either one of those 2 cams wont dissapoint. I think the 2.5 5.3 heads would be a better choice. Ide likev to swap what I have onto a 418.

soory saw your putting it into alarger engine. A buddy of mine ran the 5.3s on his 402 with the MS3. I would of gone with thr LS6s for better breathing up top. his car with A vig 3600 stall in a goat and 390 rear gears ran strong. Unfortatally it was wrecked before he got his times down.

well with ascrewed trans, and a LS6 intake 80 percent humidity and 110 degree air, 390. But my comperssion ratio was down to around 10-1. so you see with more compression and after i got my fast92/92. She did pull hard.Jon is helping my with my heads to optimize this setup. I know there is alot left in her. But with a stroker. your Tq is going to be awsome. My buddy with same in a 402 put down like 460 in a auto.and thats with a safe tune. his Tq was like 440 i think.

I made 430 through a stalled auto and with their S1 heads & MS4, for comparison.
