Default Any "Issues" with the '97-'98 'Vettes?

There are a few minor "issues" with the '98-year F-Bodies. This is NOT a thread about those. There are many threads about the '98 year, and it has been disscuissed in great detail. Many times.

However, what about 'Vettes? I was considering buying a white/red leather '97. Didn't know if there are any issues with the very first year of the LS1 and the very first year of the C5.

Thanks!

1997-1998 Vettes have wacky ECU's as far as tuning goes. I have a low milage 97, no troubles. I believe a better fuel system except the noisey fuel pumps.

my 97 gets too good of fuel mileage. haha. really they are just fine. check out the corvette forum and you will see that the 97 and 98 have no more problems than the newer C5s
