I got some questions for you

1. Was it from a roll or from a stop.
2. Is your car tuned and what kind of power did your car put down on the dyno.
3. How old are the valve springs
4. Do you have a stock tranny.
5. Are you sure he just had 3.73's and a cut out. I used to "HAVE" only headers, lid and a TB. But really i had a cam(gt2-3), heads, smallish Stall, gears, LS6 intake, and a damn good tune. Car sounded bone stock except for the exhaust but i just sold them on that

it was tuned by hp tuner so i dont know what hp it has i would say 380 or so. the tranny a rebult with transgo shift kit sleeved drum and some other things it able to take up to 600 hp. it was from a 60 roll. the springs are new got it from tsp .625 max lift. i was thinking maybe its the 853 heads not letting it breath

There's your problem right there!!! You don't know what your car runs so how do you know how the race should go? That's some ricer **** right there!! E.T. Means very little on the streets!! MPH is what you want when street racing.

shitty heads with a big cam will keep the car from going. good heads with a stock cam can make the car go. at the minimum get some ls6 heads. the stall is not your problem

Well for one thing, rolls are for dinner and not racing. Auto's are not good at roll racing.

Agreed that the stall isnt the problem, the heads are holding you back. Its time for milled LS6's at the least. Get that compression up to around 11:1 and a re-tune and your back in business.

Agreed on heads being a restriction... but are you sure the guys not spraying? I know around here half the town has nitrous on everything.. and you can't trust anybody farther than you can throw them when it comes to what they have done. I got my *** walked by a cam only auto from a 30 roll... I dont think so.

Stalls are for drag racing not high way top end running. A big stall is for getting you slung out of the hole it will hurt your MPH's though. Your problems is you got sucked into a high way run and not a drag race. M6's are king on the MPH high way running.

Take that think got the track and find out what it runs.

M6's are for rolls, stalled autos are for dead stop. I know this all to well, all its doing is stalling but not really moving anywhere. Run him from a 20 roll or something like that. That's where the stall will shine.

Dude this is not a ricer . Holy cow dont act like a punk an say i have to chock up a loss in my car now. We have all lost a races there is someone always bigger, badder, and faster than you.

You are only going to see 10-20rwhp from the heads. You might as well get some ported 243 heads so you can get some extra power out of it. And even with the heads you might still lose the races because you are racing ON THE HIGH WAY. A stalled car is not ment for racing on the highway. It is ment for racing from a stop or a very slow roll.

i totally agree. a4 vs m6 on the highway or street the outcome 99.9% will go to the m6.

Ill agree on the highway but, on the street from a low roll or dead stop, ill give it to the stalled auto. Especially if it hooks.
