Default 1.8 Rockers and TR 230

How will that change the cam? What would the new specs be?

tr 230/224 575/563 111 lsa +2 deg adv

I know that Thunder doesn't recommend the use of 1.8 rockers with that cam because of the high ramp rates.

Cam specs would be like 230/224 608/596 111 lsa +2.
The only thing changing would be the lift. So you would need springs that could handle over 610 lift or so.
Not saying that it would work or not just that's what the lift figures up to.

I get .609" and .596" Your duration would be up as well... probably 232/226 This is because lift is still 0 at the valve, when the lobe is at 0 regardless of the ratio, but the duration is measured at .050" valve lift. since there is more multiplication of the lobe, you will his .050" sooner with the larger ratio, therefore making the .050" duration longer.. Regardless, there is absolutely no way you could do this with stock pistons, even if your lifters springs and pushrods could handle the fast ramp rate. Your intake valves would all slam into the pistons.

why not just go with the g5x2 ? the 230 is a fine cam as is with the stock 1.7 rockers
