Sounds like you are having more problems than just oil pressure if your engine is shutting off on you.

The TSP pump is working like a champ; my oil pressure is 60 psi hot @ idle and about 75 psi cold. That is through the factory gauge though, my Auto Meter gauge crapped on me. It is reading pressure, but the needle is at the bottom of the gauge not on the labeled/numbered area of the gauge.

Of course I would do things the hard way, I pulled every injector plug rather than pulling the fuse to the pump.

Should I try over filling it with oil like the one guy suggested. Where is the plug he is talking about too? Please help.
Since yours is a hybrid... Did you have the vats removed from the pcm so the engine will run? If not it will run for 3-4 seconds and stall.

I pulled my engine out 3 times, installed 3 new oil rings, double bolted the pickup tube, added rtv and still no pressure. Turns out the problem was the pump was dry and would not prime it self. Once I got oil in the pump it has worked every sense. There are other ways to prime it but I think you need a special kit. Turn the engine over without starting it. Once you see pressure drain out the oil and fill it to normal level and start the engine. It worked for me, might save you time and a headache pulling the engine and dropping the pan.
I have the same isssue!!! should I just dump 19 quarts in and then crank it or do I have to pull the little plug first.Where excactly is the oil plug? and 19 quarts sounds like an awful lot

Seriously why would anyone install a new oil pump dry? I guess most don't think about it, Always fill it with oil before installing it.
