Exclamation ????370/glide question?????

i have a hke 370 some patriot stage 3 heads fast 90/90
244 248 612 615 113+2 cam 12.1 comp and a power glide. The car put down 400hp/386tq i think the numbers are low. What do you guys think? I feel something is not right!! auy sugestions

Probably the glide. I wouldnt worry unless the track times suffer.
Hows the thing trap in the 1/4?

dont know will take to the track as soon as i get my converter back from vigilante the stall was a little low stalling only 3000 needs to be like 4000-4200

the glide shouldnt rob much power at all? not sure.

How much does the car weigh? Powerglide trans don't consume much power, but two gears can be a handicap if the car is not properly set up. You may need to get your low gear ratio near 10:1. For example, I had a Camaro that ran a glide with a brake, straight cut 1.80 low gear set, with a 5.57 ring and pinion. This theoretical ratio is ten revs of the engine to one of the tires. I left the line @ 6200, shifted at 8200 and car ran 8.80's @ 149. The car worked very well, shocked the tires hard, but it only weighed 2070#'s.
