Default oil intake problems

First, none of these problems appear on the street, no matter how "spirited" i drive Everytime i autocross i have alot of oil collecting in the intake. so much, that it comes out the air filter by the end of the day. i've installed a catch can, and it does collect oil. but oil still seems to collect in the intake. i make a hard lap, park it for 15-30 min, when i return and start the engine, tons of white smoke out the exhaust. move it to the staging line, shut it off, restart once it's my turn, no smoke. so it does it after it sits after a hard lap. i've had different heads, valve train, etc... and it's done it with all setups.
any ideas on what's causing this and how to repair it?

Check you PCV valve. Either that or do away with the PCV system/hoses and install a k&n style breathers on both valve covers.

somebody told me they heard of people using pushrods with smaller diameter oil holes, which reduce the amount of oil flowing into the valve covers

Im sure its from running hard down the straight away and then when the RPM's are comming down while your slowing down for the turn it when the oil isnt draining back to the pan fast enough.

The smaller holes in the push rods to help keep oil down by the cam will help, but also remember (especially in your extreme conditions) that the oil is going to help keep the valve springs cooler, and thats a plus.

The K&N's in the breather holes would probably solve the problem.

Im afraid the REAL solution to fix the problem the 'correct' way, is to put a vacuum pump on the motor.

I autox too and have similar issues. You could install a dual catch can. The problem may be the fresh air feed to the TB from the passenger side valve cover under high rpm; it can spit oil out.

How, exactly, do you have both sides of the PCV system routed? which valley cover?

so many good ideas here.
i completely agree with the excess oil on high RPM, and it unable to drain out, prior to a high G turn.
i will look at the routing of my system since the previous owner did the ls1 to ls6 conversion, and after every rebuild and teardown, thats the only method i know to route.
the problem is that duplicating the conditions on the street is near impossible, so it always feels like a 1 shot fix before the next race. then seeing oil and smoke all wknd is so frustrating.
