Question Stock rod strength?

How much could a stock 2002 LS1 rod handle if the bolts were upgraded with ARP2000 ProSeries rod bolts? Just curious.

Wow, you are hitting that motor with some serious power. I think the stock rods are pretty strong.

Stock rods are very strong. There are several people that have went over 600 rwhp with them. It's the rod bolts to be worried about. Stud them with ARP studs and call it done.
