Default Head/Cam help

So I'm looking to build a N/A higher compression LS1.
Could I get some links or some insight on where a good starting point would be as far as heads and cam go. I have no problem with doing my homework I could just use a little help on where to start. Any recomendations as far as heads and cam go for a higher compression N/A build? This is my DD so I'm looking for something streetable.

Thanks

If you want more info you can talk to someone from texas speed, but as far as ive heard the milled 5.3 heads with the ms3 cam is the way to go if you want higher compression and still be a dd.

MS3/5.3's might be a bit much for him if he's wanting streetable/DD. If that's your main focus...look at afr and trickflow heads. Start off with great heads....and it won't matter as much what cam you run, you will make power. Invest in a good set of heads.

How much money do we get of yours to spend?

If your not on a much of a budget than AFR's or TrickFlows would be good.

If your on a budget, than milled/ported LS6's or ported 5.3's would be good.

Those with a matching camshaft, intake manifold, and stall converter if its an auto.

Get TFS heads or find out Careys new heads. Used to be ETP's. Still kicking myself in the *** for not picking a used set of these. Been milled to 58cc is what scared me away....Damnit .....

Also keep an eye out for TFS's new 205cc head. Should be out this month, and you can retain the stock rockers. CNC ported is $1995 I believe.
