Hey guys. I recently purchased a cam and accessories to install on my 01' SS 6 speed. I went with Texas speeds 233/239 .595"/.603" 112LSA. At the time of ordering I planned on using my stock 241 heads that already have comp 918 springs installed. I have since located a set of 243 heads with PRC .660 lift springs and plan on installing them with the cam. What I am wondering is...What head gaskets should I use? Will I need to use different length pushrods than the stock 7.400? I appreciate any imput and advice. Thanks,Tony

Pushrod length should have to be checked with any cam in my opinion. Sorry i know it isn't the answer you want hear. If Texas Speed recommends the use of stock length pushrods, then you might be able to get away with it though. As for the gaskets, I would go after a .50 MLS gaskets or so. Don't forget to get new lifter trays also. Good thing to replace that can be a problem if you have some decent mileage on your motor.

Talk to TSP about the push rods.... since it is one of their off the shelf cams they know what works. As far as the 243's go..... pick em up.... they do have a hefty spring on there tough... you could get away with a bigger cam in terms of lift. Just a option.
