LSx Timing Chain Verify

Is there a way to verify cam anc crank timing without pulling off the front cover? Thankx

That is mechanical timing, with the use of a Tech 2, or Atap, you can read computer timing.

I have Autotap. What "flags" am I looking for? The one concern is a 50 injector timing pulse on start, with a 1 second pulse at full throttle. History: This is a LS6 transplant ina '00 WS6.
