Dont rule out the Eagle, or Callies products. We stock both brands rotating assemblies & my bet is if you give us the opportunity we can get you in either one for a VERY VERY competitive price. Personally I like the Callies parts, shoot me a pm or give us a call & we can get you some pricing!!

I got a great deal on my 4" stroke SCAT crankshaft (my builder hooked me up big time) and also used SCAT's H-beam rods. The crank was excellent, in fact, my builder said the balance out of the box was almost perfect. The rods were great, too.

I definitely recommend SCAT for a good price. While Callies and Lunati are also great quality pieces, the price for the SCAT was too hard to ignore.

i've heard that for a n/a street motor any forged assembly from a reputable brand is fine. if you start getting into FI or big nitrous (over about 200) than the brand (price) starts to make a difference. so if your building a driver street/strip car scat and eagle are fine, but for an big hp track monster Lunati and Callies and some other high priced pieces are the way to go.

On a budget: Callies Compstar
Fat wallet: Lunati

Just my $.02.
