ls1 to ls2 worth it?
ls1 to ls2 worth it? So i was just lookin around ebay and found a ls2 and auto trans out of a 05 gto with 19k miles for sale for $5500 with all asserices, computer, and wiring and the trans is fully built with a 3500 stall coneverter and i was wondering if this is a good deal and worth the time and money to swap motors i know i good get some good money for my enigne/trans being it only has 34000 miles.
How hard would it be to swap over to the ls2 and trans, could i use my headers i have on the car now would i have to buy a cable operated throttle body and what would i need for the computer? The reason i would like the ls2 is because odvisely more cubic inches and more power with the same bolt ons plus is has a easier block for building on and a already built trans that saves me a $1000 right there. any input would be great thanks.
