Default How much is LS1 worth?

How much would a bare block run? Stock about 80k miles.

Well they are 1000 new so my guess would be 400-600 for the block.

i wouldnt buy a ls1 block to be rebuilt unless u really need the slight weight savings. u can pick up an entire 6.0 iron block engine for less the 1k and have alot more power potential...

I saw complete iron 5.3 block plus heads and cam on craigslist for $300.. I would rather go with AL tho, I can always pick another motor later with I want to go wild with horse power.

i bought my ls1 block used with over 70k.
it was 200, but had a cracked cylinder sleeve.
an lq9 6.0L brand new is a little over 700.

i paid $600 for a 12k mile short block. next stop is the 6.2l for me
