Default How long will head bolt threads in the block last?

I've completed 4 head swaps on my 2002 Z28 and I was wondering if there is any way possible to "wear out" the threads in the block that the head bolts go into. Has anyone else did alot of head swapping on their car? I have used GM bolts everytime I have swapped heads, this time I think I may use ARP's or go to ARP studs.
Thanks

Thats about as many times i did mine and pulled the threads on one bolt. Do your self a favor and buy head studs not bolts. And yes the heads do come off in the car with no problems.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm going to go with ARP studs it looks like. I could have already paid for them with all the sets of GM bolts I've bought this year.

I would get studs too. Why have you swapped heads so many times?

I have a horrible addiction to tearing my car apart! I keep "upgrading" heads and trying new stuff. Living 20 miles from Patriot Performance and getting to see the continuous improvements on his heads in person doesn't make it any easier for me to keep the same heads for more than a couple of months.

The mod bug is tough to get rid of once it takes hold.
