402 LS2...730+hp
My question is this: although it proved itself on the dyno, is the '98 PCM sufficient for my power levels and application? I've read threads recommend upgrading to a '99+ PCM if it's boosting over a certain psi (14psi I think). But since I have a nitrous application (200 shot)...with a VERY agressive cam, is it worth going through the hassle of "upgrading" to a '99+ PCM? The car runs great (above 1k rpm), but has a horrible idle...if any. Since the '99+ PCMs have additional tuning tables and features, do I risk damaging the engine by sticking to a '98 PCM? Or will those additional features only help with around the town driveability.
