Do cams 'wear' any?
You'll want to inspect the journals on the cam, although I havent seen any used cams that had much cam journal wear.

This guy "goes through cams?!" You
da man! Not that I go through cams I just have a stack of em in my garage from engines I have rebuilt and or blown up, I used to have a bad habit with shifting my cast bottom ended small blocks at 7000+. I also have a stack of heads, cranks, pistons, half pistons, rods, and two windowed blocks.
