Default ls1 squeaking

So I took the car out and ran it up to about 6000rpm a couple times and now I got a loud squeaking noise coming from the valve cover area passenger side in the back. I m sure its not the idler pulley. I pulled the valve cover off and couldnt see anything. It kind of sounds like when a ujoint is dry and is bad and starts squeaking. The squeaking varies with the rpm of the motor. I started the motor back up and went about a mile and it started squeaking again. It is very loud and something is definitly wrong. The motor is all stock. Any ideas? Lifter?

I have had a squeeking noise when I started crapping a rod bearing. It sounded like it came from the driver's side valve cover/valley cover. Hope it isn't the same for you fella, but there is only one way to find out I had it pegged as a bad LS7 lifter but wasn't so fortunate.
