yeah, i think its the oil pump o-ring tho, im pretty sure its suckin air, after running it for a lil while and checking the oil, the oil is foamed, meaning its sucking air from somewhere, im going to check it to be sure!!

dang anyone notice the large amount of oil pressure stories here lately?? whats up with that?! and im in for the ride i guess.. checking everything tomorrow!

I think you're on the right track - it's the sudden drop that bothers me - and the o ring is good suspect.

i dont have foamy oil.

well maybe you just have low oil pressure, i tore down mine today and it looks like the o-ring was pinched, gonna get a new one from gm tomorrow and put it back together tomorrow!!
