Default Compression Question

I was planning on installing an 02-04 LS6 cam and a set of GTP ported 241 heads. The GTP heads are milled to 61cc combustion chambers, complete heads spec are here: http://www.sdparts.com/product/GTP24...nderHeads.aspx. I am estimating my compression to be just over 11:1. Do you think I will have a problem with detonation? Thanks for your time and input.

If you use a stock MLS head gasket, here is what I calculate for SCR:

I'm currently running 11.31:1 in my daily driver Z06 and have no issues. Make sure the tune is correct and you always run good high octane gas. You won't have any problems with the proposed SCR.

Thanks! I really appreciate you taking the time to post that info 405HP_Z06. Good to hear things should be OK. I always run 93 octane on the stock setup so definitely will be done with the head and cam change. It will be tuned of course as well.
