Default advice on nitrious setup!!

I got an ls1 with stock heads and an ls6 intake, I have a cam, double valve spring, Hardend pushrods, Ls6 blue printed oil pump, LT header and the tsp true duals. I was looking for advice on safely running like a 150 shot of nitrious. Could I get away with forged pistons and connecting rods? If so what kinda of pistons? and cc? And also would I need new bearings. Someone help me out here I would greatly appriciate it.

You should be fine on the stock bottom end. I've been runnin a 100 shot for a while now untuned. I just ordered a 230/234 cam and am going to run a 150-175 on the stock bottom emd.

200 shot isn't a problem, a friend drive a Camaro SS with a 200 shot with cam only, runs 11.2, you'll have more problem with your rear end on the track than your motor blowing on nitrous, If you want to be safe pick up a nitrous controller that will retard timing when nitrous is engaged, I think the safe rule of thumb is retard 2 degress for every 50 shot I believe.
