Default WS6 what does it stand for really?

I know it's the Ram Air package but what doe the letters and the number 6 really mean?

Like TinIndian said, its just a GM option code. You'll find it on the end of the driver's side door. And yea, posts like this belong in LS1 Enthusiasts something along that line. The moderator's will generally move them when they are incorrectly placed anyhow.

Think I'll remove my SS emblems and put on WU8.

Z28, Z06, Z51, WS6, 1LE, Z26, Z24... all GM option codes for the factory assembly line. Sometimes the numbers sound good and make for a good car name, badge, etc...
