Need Cam Recommendation

Had to turn the corner on my project. I think I'm going to stick with the 317 heads. Flow numbers are weak on the l92 under 4000. Even though my conv. is a 3600 ish. I had to think what is this truck going to be used for. It's not going to be fast enough to et a good race here in chicago. From what I seen these motors don't need a whole lot to make good power. I seen you guys do some good stuff. I have one car that runs 8.90's I don't think I need two. However it would be fun to have a 11.50's s10 beating up on the a new 2010 Camaro. Would you guys believe that the dealer told me 590.00 a month for six years and 3,000.00 down. What a joke.

I went to the machine shop today and dropped off the heads. While I was there I figured I'll let him do his job since he's getting paid. I was trying to keep him from building me another monster motor. But life is too short to worry about another mans job. So I said I will not be cheap but I will not be stupid iether. Thank you all for your info
