I am in the middle of a head/cam swap and I picked up an ls6 valley cover to swap to the ls6 pcv system. My questions is, if I didnt have to dremel off that little piece of the block in the valley, doeas that mean its an ls6 block. Or did some ls1 blocks come like that. Not that it matters, but i was just curious.

Also whats the best way to measure ptv clearance with hydraulic lifters. Have to have them pumped up right?
