Default 370 Questions?????

Hi there all, i am looking into a new short block for my car i think i have it narrowed down to the 370 from tsp, 3000 seems like a pretty good deal to me.... My question are (might be dumb ones this will be my first motor build)

1. which head gaskets would you guys use?
2. i will be using my stock 241 heads is it worth while getting them ported?
3. will a 150 wet shot be fine to run in this motor?
4. And where do you think my hp number will be sitting? my mods are longtubes, torquer v2,descreened maf, lid, ls6 intake, 4.10s, tb bypass, maybe a new tb and maybe the ported heads

I'd get some ported 243's if I were you, it will make that cam really shine.
You should be using 6.0 gaskets. With ported heads, Tv2 cam, full bolt-ons, I think 440rwhp would be a nice goal.

440 with 243s or the 241s? i am hoping to be around the 400-430 n/a range then throw a 150 shot through it... would that be enough to throw me into the low 11s up here in colorado? those are kinda my goals for my car

With a good heads/cam/intake/spray set up you should be able to get into the mid to low 11's in CO. I have a friend running 11.9 here in Albuquerque (6k feet above sealevel) on a bolt on 100 shot car.
