Need advice asap!!!
Need advice asap!!! So I tried to start my car yesterday for the first time since I had a cam change with a few other parts like new oil pump, lifters, pushrods, and upgraded valve springs, and 25% underdrive balancer. So When I tried to start it it turned over and was trying to start and would backfire a little and crank for a second then I heard something kinda make a clink noise and my motor locked up so I got a ratchet and turned the motor the opposite way and it rotates fine and when I turn it clockwise it turns until the point where it locks up. I took the valve cover off the driver side and I havent dropped a valve and took the spark plugs out the driver side and the second spark plugs end was tore off so what would cause this to happen?
