Oil Change Light is on. My 99 Camaro SS has the Oil Change light on. I checked my pressure and its good. I checked the Dipstick and shows the right amount in there. I have 2k more to go before oil change is needed. I use Mobile 1 Full Synthetic 10w-30 extended performance. I did notice that the oil is a bit dark tho.
It is a automated reminder based on mileage, load etc. Just re-set it and change oil at your own regular intervals.
Turn the key until all the "idiotlights" are on
Dont start the car
Push and hold the trip/odometer button until the light is off
Start the car, make sure the light goes off with the rest, that should take care of it
